Dear Mary, I am not sure if you will remember me, but Laurie's name jumped out at me when I read the death notices last night. I just e-mailed it to Carol Sherter (Sharpstein) in AZ. Please accept my deepest condolences to you and your family. Its been many years since we have seen each other, but the friends we make as teenagers alway remain in our memory.

Mrs.Rovner and family, my sincerest condolences on Laurie's passing. I have nothing but wonderful memories of a guy who always had a smile, even on the worst of days. There are always people who we run across in life that become meaningful to us, Laurie was that kind of guy! A people person, a guy who made the person he was talking to feel like they were the only one in the room. I'll miss your guy even though I hadn't seen him in a while.
