Lillian Stone Obituary

STONE, Lillian M. (Powell) 88, of Ipswich, September 6, the beloved wife of the late Raymond W. Stone, and loving mother of David A. Stone and his wife Susan of Cambridge and Robert P. Stone and his wife Kathleen of Lebanon, ME; grandmother of Benjamin Stone of Portland, ME, Emily Haggstrom of Salem, Jonathan, Amy and Samuel Stone all of Cambridge. Also survived by several nephews and nieces; and her devoted companion William Smith of Ipswich. She was the sister of the late Alan Powell formerly of Belmont and Ethel Carnes formerly of Holiday, FL. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, September 10 at 10am in the United Methodist Church, 31 North Main St., Ipswich followed by burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4 to 8 pm in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High St., IPSWICH. Dear David and Bob,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful friend. I am so glad I got to see her in July. She will truely be missed. She is now with her beloved Ray again.
