LINDA HAJJAR

HAJJAR, Linda (Koury) Of Braintree, passed away on February 25, 2015 at the age of 89. Wife of the late, William J. Hajjar, she was the loving mother of W. Douglas Hajjar and his wife, Mary of Naples, FL; Peter K. Hajjar and his wife, Suzanne of Marshfied; Linda Hajjar Isner and her late husband, Dr. Jeffrey M. Isner of Weston; Richard G. Hajjar of Duxbury; James N. Hajjar and his wife, Joanne of Hanover; and Yana Hajjar and her husband, Lou Holt of Saratoga, CA; doting grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister of Sophia Balagia of Austin Texas, Carl Koury of New Jersey and Daniel Koury of Arizona. Linda was born in Frackville, PA., and lived in Braintree for over 60 years. She was the Past-President of the Massachusetts CPA Wives. She was an avid golfer at Wollaston Golf Club where she was a member of the Ladies of Wollaston for 35 years. Linda was a huge presence in the lives of her enormous family - a true Matriach. She also enjoyed her winter months in Maui; her longstanding bridge group; her political arguments; and was a voracious reader. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree MA until 9:30 AM Saturday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, So. Braintree Sq. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will take place in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
