RIPLEY, Linda M. "Rip" Of West Newton, December 12, 2010. Loving daughter of Merline O'Connor of West Newton, devoted sister of Sandra Wisherd, and Aunt of Amy Lagodimos and her husband Frank of Framingham, and Lori Melchionno and her husband Michael of West Newton. Also survived by her cherished grandnieces and nephews James, Grace, Sara, Mark, and Harry, and her goddaughter Kate Donahue. Sister-in-law of the late Gene Wisherd. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., Waltham, with a funeral service immediately following at 8 p.m. Interment will be held privately. Parking attendants will be on duty. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Linda's memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities, Attention: Charitable Accounting, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, IL 60523 or to the MSPCA by visiting www.mspca.org.
