LORETTA A. LAPIERRE

LaPIERRE, Loretta A. (Santo) Age 96 of Belmont, MA, died peacefully on January 30th in her home. Loretta was born in Somerville and resided in Belmont for 74 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Donald LaPierre; her son Richard LaPierre; her sister Gloria and brother-in-law Robert. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her children, Michael and wife Donna of South Yarmouth, David and wife Deborah of West Newbury, Donna Horgan of Waltham, and Laurie Cohen and husband Jeff of Bedford. Loretta dedicated decades working for the town of Belmont before retiring in 1993 at which time she continued her town service at the Belmont Senior Center, where many knew her as a staple running senior trips. Loretta spent years traveling the world with her husband and friends. Her legacy, traditions and lessons will live on in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her many loving grandchildren, Kevin & Lynn of New York City, Brian & Sara of Tampa, FL, Mark & Meredith of Tampa, FL, John & Michelle of Dedham, Rick & Jen of St. Petersburg, FL, Nicole & Tomas of St. Petersburg, FL, James & Des of Haverhill, Rebecca & Jon of Hampton, NH, Joseph & Jen of Waltham, Robert & Ashley of Sudbury, Jaime & Kevin of Waltham, Donald & Emily of Guilderland, NY, and Jacqui & Alex of Westford; as well as her 21 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. All services to be held Thursday, February 3rd. Visitation at Brown & Hickey Funeral Home (36 Trapelo Road, Belmont) from 8:30-9:30AM. Funeral Mass at St. Luke's Parish (132 Lexington Street, Belmont) at 10AM. Burial to follow at Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont.
