Louis F. WILLIAMS

WILLIAMS, Louis F. Age 82, passed away peacefully, March 3, 2023, at his home in Fremont, NH, with his loving wife by his side. Louis "Lou" was born July 20, 1940 in Warren, PA, son of the late Leidy Williams and Alice (Retterer) Williams. Lou grew up in Warren, PA and was one of five children in his family. Lou cherished the memories he had of growing up on the family farm, where he developed his passion of fishing and target shooting.

Lou graduated from Wakefield High School and then enlisted into the United States Navy on December 12, 1961. Less than a year later, on July 29, 1962, he married his high-school sweetheart and the love of his life, Theresa (Tess) Teixeira. They lived in Pensacola, FL while Louis was stationed there until his honorable discharge as an Aviation Structural Mechanic (Hydraulic) Petty Officer 3rd Class (AMH3) on April 11, 1966. They then moved to Lawrence, MA and it is there that they raised their five children.

Mr. Williams was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and a lifetime member of the Lawrence Rod and Gun Club.

Lou worked for 35 years as a Machinist Foreman for the Wakefield Corp, in Wakefield, MA. Upon his retirement, he and Tess moved to Vermont. It is here that he enjoyed tapping his own maple trees for maple sugaring. What started as a hobby, became the Williams Bros. Maple Syrup.

In 2017 Lou and Tess moved to Fremont, NH so that they could enjoy their golden years closer to their children and grandchildren. There was never anything more important to him than spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

Lou is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Theresa B. Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Arsenault and Steven, son and daughter-in-law, Frederick Williams and Patricia, daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Berube and Raymond; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Jo-Ann Mission; his son, Alan Williams; his granddaughter, Ashley Arsenault; his siblings, Leidy Williams, Jr., Lyle Williams, Lois Marie Muse, and Leonard Williams.

Lou will receive his Military Honors during private services held for the family. Burial, at a later date, will be in Leavitt Cemetery, Fremont, NH.
