LOUISE NAZZARO Obituary
99, formerly of Auburndale, MA passed away peacefully on February 11, 2013. Born in East Boston on January 21, 1914 to Matteo and Vincenza ( Mancini) Fortunato; Devoted wife of the late Samuel E. Nazzaro; Loving sister of Dario Fortunato of Chelsea and the late Aida Mirski, Clara Forte, and Elvira Fortunato. Devoted and loving mother of Emil and his wife Robin Nazzaro of Woodbridge, VA ; Matthew and his wife Anne Nazzaro of Manassas, VA and Luisa Nazzaro of Carlisle, MA. Also survived by her 3 loving grandchildren, Luisa and her husband Seth Nazzaro of Newport News, VA; Matthew Nazzaro of Newport News and Michael and his wife Amber Nazzaro of Woodbridge, VA and Great Grandchildren, Thomas Massimo and Anna Luisa of Newport News, VA. Louise attended East Boston High School, The Massachusetts School of Art and The Museum of Fine Arts Vocational School. She was a devout member of Corpus Christi Church, Cub Scout Den Mother and Campfire Girl leader, gifted artist, milliner, gardener and homemaker and for 20 years the respected owner of Luisa Millinery and Dress Shop in Auburndale Square.She enjoyed crossword puzzles, card playing and Scrabble. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton, MA at 12 noon on March 23rd with a reception following. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA. 101844

Dear Luisa, Emil, and Matthew,
I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Aunt Louise. My family and I did not know until today. We send our deepest sympathy and all of our love. When I think of my Aunt Louise I remember a gentle, artistic, loving, and articulate fine women. There is less light and gentleness in the world with her passing. God bless your (our) family.
