I just learned of Marc's passing. I was a classmate and friend of Marc's during his law school years, we served together on the Law Review. Marc was a brilliant intellectual, but I will most remember his physical prowess. He once saw me struggling to work out with Hemenway Gym's 1940s vintage equipment and intervened, introducing me to the gymnastics rings. I could not replicate his redoubtable "iron cross", but he patiently taught me to work out with him intros fashion. We spent many happy hours grunting and discussion the law. In the years after graduation, we went to different cities and contact became much less frequent, but I always enjoyed hearing his clear, strong Voice. Filiberto Agusti

A man of considerable dignity, integrity and courage. It was an honor to have known him.
Condolences to his sons and their families.
