I am so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. I have so many fond memories of her as we attended many girl scouting events with our daughters. We had fun times and she was a very special person. So sorry for you loss.

Peggy was always one of the "cool" girls when we were in high school and I first met her as a 12 year old when I began to hang out with her sister Jane and their neighbor Jane Brown. I was always struck by her niceness and how she did not lord her extra year of age over us..when we were all in high school, she was part of a great group of people who were passionate about their anti-war sentiments and about trying to do the right thing. It is so hard to say good bye to the first one of our "group". My deepest condolences to Britt and the two daughters.

Peggy was so kind to us when we were eager to hear the history of our house in Browncroft. She sent photos and told us all the stories. I'm very sorry for your loss, and I will miss her.

My heart is broken. It is a rare memory of my childhood that does not include Peggy and Janie Weber. Eddie was the older brother I never had. Barbie, Billy and "Little Paulie" were like family to me. There was always a place for me in their home and at their table. John and Dorothy were like parents to me. What a horrendous loss to me personally and to the Browncroft neighborhood in general. Rest in peace Peggy, knowing that you left your mark of love on this world to all who knew you.
