Hi, Little Miss Sunbeam
Just a quick hello from me to you. I have been thinking about you and your family, and Mom. I quess I just want you to know, that you are just beginning a new part of your life, that we all wish could have waited. Mom expects you to go on with all the wonderful things she taught you and gave you. You are in a very special place little one. You will make it through it all. It won't be easy, but you have Mom in your heart and in your head. I will be coming down to see Uncle John next Monday, and would like to see you too. I'll call you to see if that's okay with you. If not I won't forget you. I am here, a phone call away. Know that. I need to know that you do. Many words, cards, and gifts have been sent but it's who and what comes later that makes a differance to you. When my mother went up to be with my dad, and yours, etc. All I wanted was to hear stories about her from others who knew her. I actually got to know my mom through folks who cared enough to share them. Your mom's trip down the cape with me last spring was the ----- We had a lot of laughs, shopping at the Thrift Shop where the rich people go, ha ha ha. We shared time with each other, because we cared... Love you Sunbeam.

Dear Kelly, Ron, Mike, and families,
Bob and I were shocked and stricken with saddness when we got calls from Aunt Ruth and Aunt Doris Darling telling us the tragic news. Marilyn just called us on New Year's Day and we had a nice talk and caught up on the news. She sounded wonderful and was so looking forward to better days and better health in 2005.
I'll always cherish the memories of meeting her and Kelly, Darryl, Ryan and Colby on our summer vacation in 2003. She and Bob caught up on old times and I got to meet some of the family and play with the kids. We were looking forward to another visit this coming summer.
Marilyn was fun and friendly and made me feel like family.
Our hearts go out to you all. Please know that she is fine and will be setting the table in the sky for when we all go home.
With deepest sympathy,
Doris & Bob Darling

Ron, Michael and Kelly,
My husband and I both worked at Walpole with your mother for many years. You were the light of her life and she always had a story or an update about you and your children. I haven't seen her in several years and I was saddened to learn that she had passed. Although I knew her through work, her true calling was as wife and mother. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to learn of Marilyn's death. The last time we saw Marilyn was at her house last year. We shared lots of old memories of my grandmother and my father. She was very kind, loving and most of all fun to be with. She will be missed by all.

Dear Michael, I was so sorry and saddened to hear the news, having spoken with Shawn. I met your mother at Boston Tropical Tree one day, not long after my mothers passing away. She was so kind, and comforted me with her memories of my mom. She gave me a hug, and I felt so close to her. I always carried a special place in my heart for her after that day. She was one special lady! My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family at this very difficult time. I hope that you will find comfort in all of the love and memories that you carry. God bless. So sorry to hear of your loss. Although I have not seen Marilyn since high school I can still remember her good nature. And, of course, I know Frannie and John and I once worked in the restaurant in Plainville when I was in high school. Great family and Marilyn's dad Jack was a great guy also. She leaves too young, yet leaves many happy memories for her family to take solace in.

Dear Family,
I grew up with your Mother on Hillcrest Drive in Plainville. Your Mother would babysit for my sisters and me and we thought she was the greatest. Your Mother and Dad were a very special couple, even in high school. I knew your Dad as "Bunky" and he lived not far away on East Bacon Street. It was so nice to see a picture of your Mother. She was a beautiful woman. It sounds like she was beautiful inside and out and that she loved you very much. She grew up with a family that loved her very much. I always enjoyed visiting at their house because I always felt welcomed. Your Mother will always be with you in your hearts. With love and sympathy to the entire family, Kathy Chabot Hughes
