Years ago I worked with Joe Groh and Rick Lynch at the Stop & Shop in Chestnut Hill.
Joe was a great person to know and work with and I'm sure he hasn't changed.
Although I never met Marilyn, I knew she was a special person. Joe spoke of her fondly and often.
Our deepest sympathies and best wishes from our family to hers.
Sincerely,
Greg and Anne Kelley and family.

Having spent most of my life out of MA I did not have a chance to spend a lot of time with Marilyn. I could tell by how she would treat me when I did see her that the size of her heart and spirit were enormous. I’m sure she will be truly missed by her close friends and family alike. For those of us left behind perhaps we can take solace in the words of Victor Hugo - "Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones; and when you have laboriously accomplished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake."
