WILSON, Marilyn R. (Mace) Lifelong resident of Chelsea, on October 14, 2017 at age 87. Wife of the late, former Chelsea Police Chief, Charles H. Wilson, Jr., with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Devoted mother of Kathleen "Kathy" Stewart of NH, Gail Wise and her husband Don of Malden, Sandra "Sandy" Cravines and her husband Ted of Saugus and the late Charles P. Wilson. Loving daughter of the late, former Lt. Chelsea Police Officer, John R. and Bridget "Delia" (Malone) Mace. Sister of the late John T. Mace. Dear sister-in-law of Claire Mace of ME. Also lovingly survived by 3 grandchildren, Christopher B. Stewart of Saugus, Julie Ann Stewart of NH, Brian A. Wise and his wife Corinne of SC, many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Luther. Funeral from the Frank A. Welsh & Son's Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, CHELSEA on Friday, October 20 at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Welsh Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:30-8:30 P.M. Services will conclude with Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
