MARION J. FAHEY

FAHEY, Marion J. Of Hingham, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was 96. Retired Superintendent of Boston Public Schools. She also served as Director and Clerk of Hingham Institution for Savings from 1992-2015. Born in Worcester, on February 23, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Violet E. (Underwood) Fahey; and sister to the late Arline L. Keefe. She was also the devoted aunt of Mary Ellen Graziano of Acton and James "David" Keefe and his wife Ella Keefe of Hingham; and great-aunt to Janet Keefe and husband Giovani Ramos, Jessica Keefe, Ryan Graziano, and Scott Graziano. Marion loved spending time with family, and she made a valuable contribution in the field of education through her illustrious career. Marion's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 10 AM in St. Paul's Church, 147 North St., Hingham. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Face masks are required to be worn by all guests who enter the church.
