Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Kreuzer and Katherine Johnson Kreuzer; brother, Ernest Clifford Kreuzer; sister, Charlene Kreuzer Smith and grandchild, Layla Gilbert, and by her late husband, James David Watson (Jimbo).
She is survived by her loving partner, companion and best friend, Joe Haynes. Great-grandchildren, Keeley Butler, Bryleigh Brown, Lane Butler and Khaslee Rogers, and sister, Dianna Kreuzer as well as many nieces and nephews.
After Jimbo’s death, she carried on the business known as Channel Marker 17 in Oak Island, Texas. Her restaurant is known area wide for more than just its good food. Ernestine was an AMAING cook, but her hospitality, her laughter, her love for family, wonderful friends, and great customers made Channel Marker 17 a successful business. Her customers looked forward to the friendly atmosphere that surrounded her. Her presence there will be truly missed.
