I was very sad today when I went to the Club and found out that Mark has passed away. He was always there when I walked in the door, with a smile and a wave. When I was on the swim team, he always cheered for me, and made sure I knew when the meets were. I will miss him a lot, but I know that he is with my Papa now, and my Papa will take care of him.

I am very sorry for your profound loss. Mark was truly a gentle soul...living his life with courage and honor. As a youth growing up in Greek Community of Somerville, I served with Mark in many of the organizations of the church…alter,GOYA, to name a few. He was always present to offer his hand in friendship or to give a hug, not because he had to…. but because he wanted to. Mark will be missed.

Mark was my Assistant Basketball Coach for the Quincy Junior College vs. Hellenic College games.I often think of Mark on the bench and in the locker room and how lucky I was to be around him even for those few games. He had a lasting impact on me as a coach and as a person and his inspiration will be with me forever!
