MARTHA BRENNAN Obituary

BRENNAN, Martha Fulham Age 63, of Natick, MA, died on Thursday, April 3, 2025, after a courageous battle with neuro endocrine cancer. Beloved wife of Steven Brennan. Daughter of the late Jack and Margery Fulham. Sister of Mary Fulham of Brooklyn, NY, Daniel Fulham of Newton, MA, John Fulham of Wellesley, MA, Timothy Fulham of Wellesley, MA; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew. For more than 20 years, Martha worked with dedication as an assistant clerk magistrate in Middlesex Superior Court. She had the greatest affection and respect for all her colleagues at the court. She brought a deep commitment and determination to all her pursuits and held herself to a high standard in everything she did. In her early years, Martha enjoyed figure skating, competitive diving and karate, in which she achieved a black belt. Later, she enjoyed swimming, biking and running, especially when on vacation with her husband, Steve. She was a passionate fan of Jon Bon-Jovi and joyfully attended many, many concerts. Martha's approach to her final days could perhaps best be described in these Jon Bon-Jovi lyrics: "It's my life. It's now or never. But I ain't gonna live forever. I just want to live while I'm alive." All are welcome to attend the Funeral Mass, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 12 pm, at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St., Newton, MA. Reception to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Toys for Tots or Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Online guestbook at gfdoherty.com George F. My heartfelt condolences to the family. I am an attorney in Needham and I knew Martha for many years. She was a kind and professional person to deal with, one of the BEST in the entire Trial Court system. I will miss saying hello to her, chatting about life and court stuff, and seeing her. I am so sorry for your loss. Warm regards, Michael Magerer.

My deepest condolences to Martha´s entire family. I lived across the hall from her freshman year at Holy Cross. Although we didn´t know each other well, I admired Martha´s ability to be her own person in spite of lots of pressure to conform (it was the 80s, after all.) May your memories of Martha be a blessing to you.

I'm so heartbroken to hear the passing of Martha. We had a good relationship working together in the courtroom. She loved her job but was also looking forward to retirement too. She was such a nice person. Until we meet again Martha. Rest Easy my friend.

I am so heartbroken. Martha was the funniest and most genuine soul. I am so grateful for our friendship and for our phone call in February. She continuously pushed me and supported me and it means more than you will ever know, Martha. To her family: I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.

To Martha´s Family and Friends:

We extend our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

Martha's genuine care and dedication to her work made a remarkable difference in our office and community. She had a special way of connecting with her colleagues, particularly those who were new, and she touched the lives of countless attorneys, jurors, and individuals who attended her sessions each day. Understandably, many don´t look forward to being in a courtroom, yet Martha somehow managed to make their experience as positive as possible.

We are profoundly grateful for the time we shared with Martha and feel incredibly fortunate to have called her our friend. Her absence will be deeply felt by all.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Michael Sullivan
