Ralph, Gina, Lisa...I am so sorry for your loss. I have just learned about it, and I am so sorry I did not learn soon enough to come hug you. Please know that along with about a million others, I always think fondly and admirably about your mother. Both Chet and Thel knew...Chet could not have been such a success, or run such a tight-knit organization, without your mom's ridiculous dedication. She was truly one in a million. Hugs to all of you.

Lisa, Gina and Ralph - My thoughts are with all of you at this time.

I have sooo...many memories of your Mom and I from "before" I was sentenced by my Grandfather CHET to serve 11 years in St. Anthonys! I want to share a few with you that I hope will put a smile on your face(s).

When I was just a little 9 yr old brat aka Chets Granddaughter I used to always go to the drill practices at St. Anthonys church basement and I always pretended I was your Moms assistant sitting next to her on those cold folding chairs. I followed her every move throughout rehearsal...I had so much fun.
A favorite memory: Every weekend (still the little brat age 9 or 10) I would walk down Dyer Ave and head to your Mom and Dad's house (well, your house too) and have lunch with your mom and endless amounts of chocolate...after all I was her assistant and had to get paid.

This is my favorite memory of your Mom:

On our usual summer vacation at Ted Hiltons aka Frank Davis Resort I always got teased by my brother Erik, Robbie Carter, the boys, etc because at the pool I was always to afraid to jump off the high diving board...I remember the day as if it were yesterday (brat age now 11 or 12)...your Mom walked me right up to that ladder at the pool and gave me one of her "you can do it dammit" pep talks and as afraid as I was I didn't even think about it...I climbed up those 32 steps (kidding - about 12) walked to the edge held my nose and jumped into the water! I swam to the edge got out of the pool and your Mom was there to give me a hug.
Oh yeah, I got the boys back by waking them up with my Cymbals in Coo Coo's Band!

*Thanks for letting me share a few memories with you all. *Your Mom was one class-act.

Missing her...missing you all as well

Kristin xoxo

Heartfelt condolences to the entire Catalano family. There are no words I can say to ease your pain. I have so many fond memories of Mary from our drill days, if you needed ANYTHNG Mary had it covered. Mary "Cat" will always be watching over us from above with that same caring and love; I take comfort in knowing I will see her again in Paradise. RIP Mary
