Aunt Mary, you are one of the most gracious people we will most likely ever have the pleasure to know in this lifetime. Each time you and Uncle Bob visited our home, within a week you would send a thank you talking about what a wonderful time you had. What you didn't know, and what we want you to know ,is just how blessed and fortunate we felt just to have you in our presence. We will miss you and you will always have a special place in our hearts.l

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved aunt and great-aunt Mary. We loved her very much and admired her strength, courage and committment in caring for those she loved. And though she will be dearly missed by the both of us, we find great comfort in knowing that she joins her siblings, our dear uncle Charlie and Patricia, our beloved mother and grandmother. We will miss you dear aunt Mary. Please give mom and uncle Charlie a great big hug and kiss from the both of us.
Love,
Joanne and Jake

What I remember most about aunt Mary - what my sisters and I remember so fondly from childhood about aunt Mary was how much her younger sister - our mother, looked up to her. They had a love and friendship unlike any two sisters I've ever know or am likely to ever meet. My sisters and I share the very distinct and amusing memory of mom announcing that "aunt Mary and uncle Bob are coming to visit, and we must clean the house," despite the house being acceptably clean as it was. We'd dust, we'd vacuum, and wash and polish and buff and disinfect until you could perform surgery on the coffee table in the living room. But mom wanted things to be perfect for her sister Mary, who, in my mother's eyes, was perfect. God has called mom's perfect sister home and I have been left with great sadness. No longer to feel her warm hand in mine or the softness of her cheek next to mine when she'd kiss me good-bye. God has decided it is time to reunite Mary with her brother and sister... and if I know my mother, she's making everyone clean like crazy because aunt Mary is coming.
A piece of my heart will be missing with you gone, aunt Mary.
Love you always,
Jeanne

Remembering my aunt, my Godmother..
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about Mary's death.
She brought so many gifts to our life. We share comfort in knowing she is with her brother and sister now.
May the love of God enfolds you during your journey through grief.
We send you thoughts of comfort.
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss…our thoughts are with you.
Like a bird singing in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow.
We will never forget her.
We send you thoughts of peace and courage.
With sincere sympathy,
