MARY CRONIN Obituary
Friends and family are cordially invited to a Memorial Visitation on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cape Church, 468 Stony Brook Road, Brewster, MA immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Burial services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Mary Agnes' memory, to the Meghan K. Duffy Memorial Foundation, 185 Debora Road, North Attleboro, MA 02760.

Mary Agnes Cronin was an exceptional woman.
I had the privilege of working with her for almost twenty years at Associates in Ob-Gyn in Beverly, Massachusetts. My memory is still so vivid of the day she came to interview for the job of a nurse: she was impeccably dressed with a bright yellow sweater over a starched blouse, she spoke with a quiet confidence and yes, she had been a surgical nurse for many years and could do the work. She was business like but also elegant. She rapidly learned all the fine points of the specialty and gave superb care to the patients.
As I came to know Mary Agnes over time there was always this unspoken strength.
We shared the events of our respective lives and Mary Agnes dealt with many adversities with grace, resolve and hope. This was not a person to indulge in self-pity and she always had the ability to extend herself to others. Family was everything to her and I felt that she instilled into her children the qualities of self awareness and concern for people.
Mary Agnes gave so much to me not just as a physician starting out in practice but in friendship. The loss in her passing is a deep one. She truly was a life well lived.

My sincerest condolences for the loss of your dear Mary. May the God and Father of true peace and all tender mercies grant your family calm hearts and many precious memories. After all, the memories are what make the heart light. Please know that God also has your loved one in His loving memory. Find comfort in knowing God cares for you and the pain in your hearts will be softened.
