I am so sad about the Loss of our Dear Friend May Rose. She looked like the Blessed Mother Mary and had the heart of St. Theresa the little flower. I will GREATLY miss you my dear friend of 45 years. When the girls get together we will alway Toast May Rose! You greated everyone you met with such GREAT Love you were a great teacher to all of us.. You were an Angel on Earth and now you are returning home. Thank God Love is Eternal, so we can enjoy you love on earth and from Heaven. I love and miss you so much..

Dear Gigante Family,
Boy did the O'Flaherty family luck out when we had the privilege of meeting Jackie and Mary Gigante and their beautiful family way back in the 1960's when we arrived, initially, in the United States from Ireland. Our Dad, John O'Flaherty, worked at Read and White, directly around the corner from Jackie's. They became fast friends and the rest is history. Mary became a second mother us. My heart is heavy thinking about how each of the Gigante family members and friends feel today, especially Jackie. I cannot express my words of condolences enough to soothe your heavy heart but, I can tell you, respectfully, that I have never met a more compassionate, loyal and loving wife, mother and friend, as your beloved wife, Mary. Her memory will always be close to my heart, and I will always keep her, and you, in my prayers.

I'm so deeply saddened to hear of Mary's passing. I will always remember her being so full of life, so full of joy, so full kindness and so full of love. I remember her wisdom as she offered her kind and gently advice, and somehow you felt better after talking to Mary. Mary, Thank you for touching my life in such a special way, I will always remember your grace.

Mrs. Gigante, you will be sorely missed. It's so difficult to say good bye to a wonderful woman like you. You were truly one of a kind. Smart, kind, beautiful, but also tough and independent: You didn't put up with nonsense. That's the way I saw you. You and Jackie made a great pair and your love for each other resonated. I believe you had a marriage that was ordained from heaven. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives so many years ago. For that I will always be grateful. Whether it was working at Jackies over the years or sitting at your dinner table, you left me with memories that cannot ever be forgotten. Thanks for letting me keep Teefus the cat at the shop. Thanks for giving me work when I so badly needed it. And, finally, thanks for being more than a friend when I was finiding my way. God bless you Mary. Love, Dominic O'Flaherty.
