My wife Helen, who died in 1989, and I were next door neighbors of Mary and Bob in Cohasset for many years. Helen and Mary became good friends and were kindred souls who enjoyed each other's company - often over a cup of coffee. Mary always had a friendly smile and Helen and I could not have asked for a better friend and neighbor than Mary Londergan. In all respects, Mary was a beautiful woman.

Mary was always a role model as a woman who never aged. She stayed youthful in her outlook as well as her looks, her constant thirst for knowledge, her joy in living, her enthusiasm in all things, with a little extra for Notre Dame. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her smiling face is already missed. Our deep sympathy to Deidre and her entire family.
