MARYANN HAGGERTY Obituary

HAGGERTY, Maryann H. Of Canton, formerly of Massapequa NY, died Monday November 25, 2013 after a brief illness. She was 61 years old. Maryann was a lifelong resident of Massapequa, New York where she worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening and adored her grandchildren. Daughter of the late Thomas and Anne Haggerty. Loving mother of Maureen Arndt of Scotia NY, Michael Sapanara and his wife Kristen of Norwich, CT and Maryann Sapanara and her husband Ilya Kaplun of Canton. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., CANTON, Friday, November 29, from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington St., Canton. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. If desired, donations in Maryanns memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
