Matt was kind and generous leader who I had the privilege of working during my time in Chicago. I am so sorry to read this news and had no idea of his passing. He was a kind person who demonstrated empathy to and humility to everyone in the office and made the day go by with a positive talk or check in - he exemplified true servant leadership and was one of the best execs I've worked with to date. Even though this note is very late, I'd like to extend my condolences to Matt's family and friends.

My deepest condolences for your loss. I went to high school with Matt and he was a good friend. I always enjoyed his check ins throughout the years, sharing about his family and checking on mine. I am deeply saddened and sending prayers to his family.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. Matt and I had dinner two weeks ago while he was in nyc for work. It was great to catch-up and his love of life and for his family was so evident. He shared -- with great pride -- stories of his kids and home life. We reminisced about the good 'ol days in Foxboro and many stories of HS friends and shenanigans. He will be truly missed. I'm saddened to hear of Matt's passing. I had the opportunity to meet and work with him at Davita. He was an incredibly talented individual with a clear vision of how he wanted to improve the patient care environment for the thousands of dialysis patients Davita served nationwide. He loved to talk about his family at every opportunity. Every meeting or conference call would start with a story about his son or daughter, what he did with them over the weekend and what he planned to do the next. He was a proud father, a dedicated leader, and a great friend. He will be missed.

Matt was a good friend and customer for many years. I don't think we ever had a conversation that didn't start or end with talking about our families. He was very proud of Lisa and Scott's accomplishments and it was clear how much he loved Julie. When I saw him in NY 3 weeks ago at a work event he was talking about Scott's baseball journey and college choices. Family was always foremost in his mind. Yet he always had time to mentor people and listen to those that needed career advice.
Julie, Lisa, and Scott, Matt was so well loved and respected in the facility industry. He was a true gentleman. There will never be another like him.
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and the rest of Matt's extended family and friends who are all trying to cope with this sudden loss.
