I was very honored to work with Max on the Mexican Voter Registration card program in Edmond Oklahoma from Sept 1992 to June 1993. He was a fun guy to be around. I learned something from his everyday. He kept the program working like a fine tuned machine. Max would never take any of the credit but would give it to his other team members.
After the program finished he would gather all 7 of the Polaroid people from the team and invite us to his and Kay's home for a night of fun and remembering just what we had accomplished.
I will never forget him and will always think of what he meant to Polaroid during his time as an employee and as a consultant.
Rest in peace, my friend.

My deepest condolences to the Lawrence family and all of Max's dear friends. He was a cousin I barely knew, but part of a huge family. I saw him at the reunions only and dearly loved my Uncle Max, his Dad.
May Max rest in peace and all continue to love him.

One of the greats gone. I will always remember him from our Martinson Reunions on Hubbard St in Concord. He quizzed me on what position I wanted to play in football. Always a sharp wit, like most in that crowd, but with proper deference to Aunt Connie. My thoughts are with the family.

My grandfather was one of the most inspirational people I have ever known. He was the one person that no matter what the situation was good or bad, he would always be there for me. He was the person I confided in when I was at my lowest and the first person I would celebrate my success with. I will never forget what my grandfather did for me and the impact he had on me to make me the man I am today. I love you I will never forget you and I will miss you

I worked with Max at Polaroid for
many years. Of all the engineers and managers I worked with, Max was the best leader. He selected a staff of top engineers in Waltham, Wisconsin and Scotland- his team always delivered. Max helped build Polaroid! I affectionately referred to him as 'Max the Builder' Condolences to Kay and family. Milt Dentch

Max was a wonderful man. He was one of the leaders at the boys brigade which I attended at The Evangelical Free Church in Concord. I have wonderful memories of that time I my life in 1955 and 56 his new black and red Plymouth with the gearshift sticking out of the dash. Two weeks at Camp Pukwudgies in Maine in the summer where I washed dishes to pay my way. He was a positive influence in my life for which I am grateful.
