DIGREGORIO, Michael Sr. With profound sadness we announce the passing of Michael DiGregorio, Sr., age 71, on April 15, due to complications from cancer. His devastated family was at his bedside. His world was always centered on his endless devotion to his family. He was the son of the late Mario DiGregorio, Jr. and Angelina (Spellino). He is survived by his loving wife of almost 43 years, Patricia (Colarusso); and their beloved only child, Michael, Jr., whom he always called his greatest joy in life. Also survived by brother, Anthony and wife, Judi; and sister, Josephine, late husband Ken; brother-in-law, Fred Colarusso, wife Rosanne; nieces and nephews, Craig, David, Cheryl, Gina, Alison, Lauren; grandnieces, Luciana, Cleo, Hazel, Eloise; and grandnephew, Vincent. He received a bachelor's degree from Salem State and attended post-grad school at Northeastern University. After a five-decade career managing stores, traveling as a VP of purchasing for department chains, serving as a manufacturing executive and owning a small business, he ultimately became a real estate broker until illness forced his retirement. Funeral from the Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., REVERE, on Thursday, April 20, at 9:00am. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church in Revere at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at Buonfiglio's. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
