From extended day in elementary school to driving him to our classes at Middlesex Community College, Mike is someone who stands out as part of my childhood.
I remember his laugh when he teased me in 6th grade English class and seeing him at middle school dances. I remember his perfect handwriting; how he would write his name for an assignment and if he didn’t think it was good enough he would throw out the paper and write it again until he got it “right”.
I wish he had known, that it was good enough…that he was good enough and never had to prove that. I hope he has found the peace he sought.
To all his loved ones, my heart aches for you and your immeasurable grief.
