MICHAEL MCDONAGH Obituary

McDONAGH, Michael Talented Carpenter Of Quincy, originally from Rinn Carraroe, Galway, Ireland, died suddenly on June 29, 2018. The beloved son of the late Colman and Bridie (Lydon) McDonagh. Loving brother of Colman McDonagh of Hingham, Patrick McDonagh of Weymouth, Thomas McDonagh of Everett, Bridie Quigley of Stoneham, Judy Conneely of Invern, Ireland and the late Mary Officer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mike was a talented carpenter, a member of local 33 for more than 35 years, he retired back in 2008. He enjoyed fishing in his free time. What was most important to Mike was his family and his faith. They were the foundation of what was truly important in his life. Mike will be remembered as a kind and gracious gentleman, who was devoted to his family. Although they are broken hearted at his sudden passing, they feel blessed to have had Mike in their lives. He will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John's Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
