I am so sorry for your loss. My fondest memories of Uncle Mike; When I was young, I slept over my Aunt Dotty's, a lot and hung out with my many cousins. I loved those days. Uncle Mike would arrive home, early in the morning and all the kids would wake up early and gather in their parent's bedroom, all sitting at the bottom of their bed. They would discuss school progress and what was on their schedules for the day. This was their way of keeping "Dad in the loop".
Today, as a substitute teacher (Pre School & Elementary) and every time I sing "I've Been Working On The Railroad" with the kids, I picture Uncle Mike in his dark uniform wearing his Conductor's cap. May you rest in peace in the Roundhouse in the sky.
