Michael Stavropoulos Obituary

Of Weston, formerly of Watertown, November 24, 2004. Beloved husband of Vasiliki (Plevritis) Stavropoulos. Devoted father of Peter Stavropoulos and his wife Sofia of Arlington and Georgia Janos and her husband Thomas of Weston, Loving grandfather of Michael, Niko and Lukas Stavropoulos and Paul and Mariah Janos. Brother of Foti Stavropoulos and his wife Katerina of Athens, Greece, George Stavropoulos and his wife Maria of Athens Greece, Spiros Stavropoulos and his wife Pota of Watertown, Maria Groussis and her husband Stelios of Newton and Kostandina Kolovos and her husband George of Athens, Greece. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Faggas Funeral Home 551 Mt. Auburn St., Rte 16) WATERTOWN on Monday at 9 AM followed by Services at 10 AM in the Greek Orthodox Church (Taxiarchae) 25 Bigelow Ave., Watertown. Visiting hours on Sunday 5-8 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend, Interment in Newton Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the above named church or St. George Church Vassara, Greece.
