Mildred Horbal Obituary

HORBAL, Mildred (Buinitsky) Age 91 years, of Middleboro, died on January 21, 2009, at the Life Care Center of Raynham, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Stephen Horbal, who predeceased her in 1995. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Alexander and Mary (Mooza) Buinitsky. She was educated in Boston, and had been a school teacher, for the city of Somerville, for many years. She had taken part in 4-H Fair's, in her early years. She is survived by nephews; Richard Shyduroff and his wife Nancy Gardner, both of Rockport, Maine, Christopher Leighton and Andrew Leighton, both Falmouth, and Alexander Leighton of Georgia. She was the mother of the late Marie A. Horbal and Katheryn S. Horbal, and sister of the late Valentyna Leighton and Vera Durling. Funeral services will be held in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., MIDDLEBORO, on Sun., Jan. 25th at 4 pm, with the Rev. John Bacon officiating, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 pm on Sun. Burial will take place at Nemasket Hill Cemetery, Middleboro, in the spring. For more information, pleasevisit www.eggerandashleyfh.com
