Minna Matross Obituary

Of Canton, formerly of Brighton at age 100 on Monday, November 12, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Samuel. Devoted mother of Burton Matross & his wife Donna of Peabody. Loving grandmother of Brian Matross of Stamford, CT and Bonnie Matross Antoniou of Lowell. Dear sister of the late Louis and Nathan Segal. Graveside services at Share Tefila Cemetery, Baker St., West Roxbury on Wednesday, November 14 at 12 noon. Memorial observance following the service at Orchard Cove through 4:00 PM and continuing at the home of Burton & Donna Matross, Wednesday 7-9 PM, Thursday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, Friday through 2:00 PM, Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances would be appreciated to The Orchard Cove Staff Appreciation Fund, 1 Del Pond Dr., Canton, MA 02021 Levine Chapels, Brookline 617-277-8300

I feel blessed to be the great niece of such a strong woman as Minnie. I loved her feisty, no-nonsense ways and adored the fact that through some genetic inheritence,we shared the Segal music gene! May she rest in great peace and play music forever more...
