I worked with Muhammad when he was at the BRA and remeber him as a strong, stabilizing and uplifting force in the middle of an often chaotic envirnoment. He was a genuine pleasure to work with and to know.

Worked with Muhammad for many years at the BRA. Muhammad always had a laugh and a smile, concerned with his projects and their impact on the community. In his day he was a pretty good tennis player. Muhammad loved his family and was devoted to his faith community for which he demonstrated great leadership. Larry koff, community planner, BRA

Sending love and condolences to the Ali-Salaam family during this time. I never met Mr. Muhammad, but knowing his son Ibrahim, he should know that he did a great job as a father.

Muhammad was a good friend and a creative co-worker. We worked together at the BRA from 1985 to 1994. We worked side-by-side as he advocated for the Mosque as I did the same for the Holocaust Memorial ... we helped each other accomplish our goals. His passing is a loss for all of us, may his memory be a blessing!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Ali was a very nice person, kind hearted, soft spoken. Full of integrity. I had the pleasure of meeting him while he worked as a Commissioner for the Boston Water and Sewer Commission. He will be truly missed. May he rest in peace. Myrna Weekes

My sincere condolences to the lovely family of Muhammad Ali Salaam. There are so many memories of Muhammad in that he and my husband, Talib Ali were close friends. They went to Hajj together, and we accompanied Muhammad and his wife,Waheeda to Panama. He shared many wonderful stories in his soft spoken voice. Peace and Blessings from the Ali and Tillet family.
