Nancy Cavalieri Obituary
Born Nancy E. Ney in Providence on February 15, 1957, Nancy was a daughter of Celia E. (Gavlick) Ney of North Attleboro and the late James J. Ney. She was raised and educated in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1975.
Nancy was employed in data entry at the former Motorola US in Mansfield for over twenty years and was later employed in information systems at Total Management Solutions in Norton for five years until July 2008. Nancy was devoted to her husband and family and especially enjoyed traveling to the Bahamas with her family.
In addition to her beloved husband, Corby and loving mother, Celia, Nancy is survived by a daughter: Kristina M. Cavalieri and her boyfriend Kris Carrier of Attleboro; two sons: Kevin M. Cavalieri, Jr. and his fiancée Jennifer Megna of North Attleboro and Scott A. Cavalieri of Attleboro; a brother: James Ney and his wife Karen of South Paris, ME; three sisters: Judith Makowski and her husband Sid of Seekonk, Donna Rogers and her husband Charles of Providence and Suzanne Ney of North Attleboro; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 11 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
At the request of the family, visiting hours are respectfully omitted and burial will be private. Following Mass an invitation is extended for all to return with the family to the North Attleboro Lodge of Elks, 52 Bulfinch Street, North Attleboro for a time of continued friendship and fellowship.

I think that you all know that I considered Nancy my second Mom. From the moment I met her, she treated me like one of the family. No invitation was needed, she just always made me feel welcome. She shared in our success and was there to bring us back to reality with a "Get over it!" when we worried about frivolous things. I thank you for sharing your family with me and cherish the memories of all the time I spent with Mom. From Vegas to the Bahamas to just hanging around the pool, I have so many great times to think of. Mom truly was a special person and will be missed dearly. It is now a week after Nancy's death and it just does not seem possible that she is no longer with us.
