Met Nancy 25 years ago at AJH. Lovely lady and colleague. Impressed by her modesty, willingness to help and will never forget her smile. As a professional, simple the best. God bless her and my condolences to Cavan and the two boys.

Nancy was my roommate for 2 years and dear friend for the 4 years of our nursing school time at BU. She was funny, smart and very lovable. She had a very sweet and gentle way about her. ln all the time I knew her, I only saw Nancy get really angry once (not at me!). She was a sturdy shoulder to cry on and great drinking buddy. I will keep those details secret! Even though we were young, she had a lot of good common sense and didn't get rattled easily. I was so happy for her when I met her husband, Cavan, he was as nice as she was and Nancy deserved that. She only spoke well of Cavan and lovingly of her sons. Nancy showed me her beautiful new house a little over a year ago. If she was sick then, she never told me. I am so sorry she is gone. My love to you Cavan and condolences to Cam and Alex.

Always such a ray of sunshine, fun, calm, generosity. A wonderful friend. We met 25 years ago when our babies were in "buckets" as Nancy called them...and we had so much fun. She made everything fun. Her kindness came so naturally. Cavan, Alex and Cam....the McCraven family is so sorry for your immense loss. Sending lots of love. Celebrate all of your wonderful memories. xoxox

Too much time passed- and still, I imagined how I´d see you again, and how you would be the same Nancy- wonderful, beautiful, disarming, graceful. For anyone who hadn´t the privilege of watching Nancy play rugby- she was an awesome force- quietly ruling the field in an era during which "Beantown" (her/our team) won six national championships. Many of those wins were because of her presence- she was a dominant jumper in line-outs; she commanded the scrum, and she wore the outfit better than anyone. We called her "Tiny".
To Nancy´s family and everyone else who knew her and loved her. I am so sorry for your loss.

I had the privilege of knowing Nancy for 22 years. I enjoyed the times I spent with her around our children, skiing together up in N. Conway and our annual end of summer birthday dinners. She was so very kind and caring-her loving care of the three elderly neighbor sisters comes to mind. She (and Cavan) raised two amazing boys. She was a wonderful person who will be missed by everyone.

I first met Nancy many years ago in a playgroup for our boys. I also had the honor to work with her for over 20 years. She was a bright, joyful, intelligent, kind person who gave wonderful care to her patients and always had time for you even when she was going through tough times herself. She truly was a gem. Thoughts and prayers for her family during this time of sorrow.

Nancy made the lives of everyone around her better. She was an exemplary nurse anesthetist, providing kind and compassionate care to her patients. She was always offering to take difficult assignments or stay late, but we all knew that her family was her most important priority. My thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time. I will miss her kind gentle way, but her impact on me and the rest of her AJH coworkers cannot be understated. We are all lucky to have been in her sphere and to be influenced by her. She was a strong woman of great character-she was simply the best.

Nancy was like a ray of sunshine on a rainy day. Her Calm and friendly presence put everyone at ease. She always had a kind word to say, which endeared her to all who knew her. She was truly an incredibly good soul, one of the kindest, sweetest, and nicest people anyone could ever meet. Her passing has deeply saddened many people, and made the world a little less bright without her. My sincere condolences to her family. Nancy will be truly missed.

I have known and worked with Nancy for 20+ years. She was a beautiful soul inside and out. So talented in her work. She was one of the best nurse anesthetists. She cared deeply for her patients. Becoming friends with her over these years has meant so much. My heart is broken. An angel on earth is now an angel watching over us. God Bless you Nancy. Be at peace my friend.

I had the pleasure of meeting Nancy nearly twenty years ago, when I first arrived at Anna Jaques Hospital. From the moment we met, her quiet grace, charm, good humor and humility had me hooked. Our team at work could not have asked for a more collaborative or generous colleague, and these same qualities made her an even better friend. Like everyone who knew her, we are heartbroken. Steve and I send our condolences to Cavan, Alex, Cam and her entire family.

I´ll miss Nancy´s sincere smile and friendliness.
I´ll miss her stories about Cavan being accident prone ; but yet as a couple they could accomplish anything!
I´ll mis her willingness to do more than her share at work, volunteering to stay late or take extra Call. Nancy was a great colleague and friend,
God Bless you Nancy - We are all heartbroken.
