YURCHAK, Nancy D. (Downs) (Woods) Of Wellesley, passed away in her home on November 25, 2016 surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Peter M. Yurchak. Devoted mother of Christopher Downs and his wife Laura of Kalispell, MT; Matthew Downs of Wellesley; Stephen Downs of Wellesley. Loving grandmother of Michael and Sarah Downs of Kalispell, MT. Stepmother of Kathleen Fritz and her husband Chris of Chicago, IL; Patricia Rexford and her husband Clisson of Chicago, IL; P. Michael Yurchak and his wife Molly of L.A., CA. Stepgrandmother of Luca and Sascha Yurchak of L.A., CA; Peter and Charlie Rexford of Chicago, IL. Nancy worked as an operating room nurse at St. Elizabeth's Hospital for 30 years before retiring and spending many wonderful years with her late husband, Peter.  Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.  She enjoyed supporting the arts, shopping for her grand kids, visiting museums, good movies, and sitting in front of a crackling fireplace at home. Memorial Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9 Glen Rd., Wellesley Hills on Saturday Dec. 10 at 1PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. A celebration of her life will be held immediately following at Papa Razi, 14 Washington St., Wellesley. All welcome.
