NATALY GOLDIN

GOLDIN, Nataly (Klupt) Age 84, of Newton, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. Born in Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Russia, she was the only daughter of Dr. Michael Klupt and Prof. Judith Freedman; and the beloved wife of Vitaly Goldin, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Nataly is survived by her two daughters, Dina and Larisa; and two grandsons, Isaac and Ethan. Nataly obtained M.S. in Mathematics, Summa Cum Laude, from Leningrad State University, where she was also a varsity gymnast. A passionate educator, she worked as a mathematics professor before relocating to the U.S. with her family. In America, she became a software engineer as well as a successful private investor. In the mid-1990s, Nataly took up competitive bridge, quickly rising through the ranks. She earned numerous regional and national medals, at times wearing them as a necklace. Her circle of bridge-playing friends included many grandmasters, all of whom held her in high regard. Though small in stature, Nataly's wisdom and personality left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her memory will endure in the hearts of many.
