NICHOLAS DARZENTA Obituary
Dr. Darzenta was preceded in death by his parents, the late Constantin Darzenta and the late Irene Noitakis, as well as his brothers, George and Gerasimo Darzenta, and sister Thekla Mavromatis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; sister Markella Xerras; son Constantin Darzenta and daughter-in-law Janice; daughter Irene Darzenta Tzafolias and son-in-law Constantine; and four grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicholas, Iliana and Mia.
Viewing is scheduled for 8:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, followed by liturgical services at 9:00 a.m., at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos Street, Peabody, MA.
Contributions in his memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; www.stjude.org.

Dr. Darzenta was one of those rare people that you meet in your life time who taught a number of lessons .He taught me that patient care was our utmost responsibility and to always place patient welfare first . Dr.Darzenta was a kind teacher who strove for perfection but did so with grace and patience . He also was a devoted family man who raised a wonderful caring family . Thank you Dr. Darzenta you are an example to us all .
