Of Revere, formerly of Medford, February 20th. Beloved son of Carmen (Ruo) of No. Reading and the late Nicholas DiChiara Sr. Devoted father of Ptl. Nicholas DiChiara III, NAPD of No. Andover, Ptl. Charles DiChiara, WPD of Waltham, Eric of Boston, Anthony, Joseph and Vincent, all of Revere, and the late Scott DiChiara. Loving grandfather of Nicole and Scott DiChiara. Brother of Lt. Michael DiChiara, MPD and Ralph DiChiara, both of No. Reading. Former husband of Lucille (Balliro) DiChiara of Revere. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church, 779 Fellsway, Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Oncology Project Fund, 170 Governors Ave., Medford, MA 02155.
