Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 6, 1937 to George and Polexini (Kokanakis) Faggas. He met the love of his life, Ann Marie (Brogna) Faggas in 1955 and in 1957 they were married and blessed with six children. Nick founded the Faggas Funeral Home in May, 1963 with his late brother Charles W. Faggas. He loved serving families. He started Faggas Embalming Service in the mid 70's. He traveled internationally and taught arterial embalming to other countries. He made many lasting relationships along the way. To the Faggas Family: I remember Nick many, many years ago when he and my Dad, Albert Egidio of Egidio Funeral Home in Hyde Park, MA would be working together doing pickups. My Dad was also a great " embalmer" as Nick was. I am one of the twins of Albert Egidio and loved the funeral business.
May Nick rest in peace and let his light shine over his family.

Nick was the nicest guy. It's been 20 years, but what an impression he made.

Dear Faggas Family, I met Nick several years ago when he was a patient at Mount Auburn where I volunteer. Although I've seen hundreds of patients through the years, Nick stands out as one of the most memorable for his laughter and kindness. We talked about his favorite subject: funeral homes, and he referred me to his own which now, I'm sorry, I did not go to to make advance plans. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of one special person who made everyone else feel that way. RIP, Nick.
