Nora Toothaker Obituary

TOOTHAKER, Nora Marie (Davis) Age 64, formerly of Amesbury, died unexpectedly, Sunday, May 17, 2009, at Beverly Hospital, with her daughters at her side. Born in Lynn, January 7, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Warren J. and Mary (Thornton) Davis. She graduated Lynn Classical High School in 1963 and later received her Paralegal certification from Northeastern University in Boston. She had worked as a legal secretary for Perkins, Smith & Cohen LLP of Boston and Bank of Boston. She was the former wife of Bernard S. Toothaker. Her survivors include her two daughters, Erin E. Toothaker of Canton and Shannon M. (Toothaker) Perry of Amesbury; a son-in-law, Kenneth S. Perry; a greatly adored grandson, Lucas Paul Perry; her two sisters, Beverly Delaney of Lynn and Eleanor Flavin of NC; along with several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, AMESBURY, will be Thursday, May 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 22 at 11:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, 2 School Street, Amesbury, followed by interment in Bridge Street Cemetery, West Newbury.
