Noreen Avery was an extraordinary teacher whom we and so many other Burbank School families remember very fondly. Our children were fortunate to study with such a gifted teacher. She made a great impact on students and their grateful parents alike. Rest in peace, dear Mrs. Avery.

Without question one of the best teachers any of our three children ever had, and in first grade at that. So sorry for your loss-- Noreen was a wonderful and caring person.

Mrs. Avery was a wonderful woman, who was always very welcoming. I have many happy memories of playing at her house with Doug, when he and I were both young. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Avery, Doug, John, Deanna and their families.

Dear Dalton and family,
This captures perfectly the lovely, gracious woman I knew as our children grew up through the Belmont schools. I extend my sympathy to each of you but especially to her grandchildren. I know John, Deanne and Doug will keep alive for them the model of her generosity of spirit.
