NOREEN B. CONNOLLY

CONNOLLY, Noreen B. "Reeny" Age 78, died on January 7, 2022 at The Landings of Genesee in Flint, Michigan, after a lengthy illness. Born in Norwood, MA, she was the daughter of William S. and Nora V. Connolly. She was a graduate of Norwood High School and then earned a diploma in Nursing from The Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing. She then earned her Bachelor of science in Nursing degree from Boston College and in 1979 she received a Master's of Science degree in Nursing and Health Care Administration from The University of Michigan as a Kellogg's Fellow. She held many positions over the years from staff R.N., staff development director, and nursing and hospital administrator. Reeny was the Vice President for Nursing Services at Saint Joseph Hospital in Flint, Michigan and retired as Chief Nursing Officer at The West Branch Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her brother William S. Connolly of Walpole; nieces Christine Libby and her husband Arthur of Walpole, Noreen Kostka and her husband Kenneth of Falmouth, Maribeth Hughes and her husband Steven of Foxboro, Erin Bardanis and her husband Emanuel of Medfield;and nephew Thomas Connolly and his wife Jennifer of Norwood. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas F. Connolly and his wife Martha and sister-in-law Mary Connolly. The Family would like to thank her dear friend Janet Westhoff of Flint, Michigan for many years of friendship and care for Reeny. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours on March 26, 2022, from 9-10 a.m. at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, NORWOOD, MA. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Timothy Parish, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.
