Norma Cox Obituary

Of Reading, formerly of Wakefield, May 31 at age 95 years. Wife of the late Fred W. Cox. Mother of the late Joanne Jeffers Collins and William S. Cox and his wife Peggy Cox. Grandmother of Nancy Cox Davidge and her husband William of Marblehad, Ellen Cox Emmons and her husband Robert of Reading, Charles of New Hampshire, and George Collins and his wife Linda of Maine and the late Polly Cox Sequin. Great grandmother of Allison Cox Castaldi of Marblehead, Rachel and Lauren Emmons of Reading, Matthew Coronis of New Hampshire and Gavin and Anna Collins of Maine and the late Daniel and Amy Sequin. Funeral Services will be held at the First Parish Congregational Church Chapel, One Church Street, Wakefield Tuesday, June 4 at 11:00 A.M. Friends may call at the Douglass, Edgerly and Bessom Funeral Home, corner of Woburn and Sanborn Streets, READING, Monday 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Polly Cox Sequin Memorial Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 492, Reading MA 01867. Burial will be in Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading, MA.

Norma will be be greatly missed by the Girl Scout community in the Greater Boston area.



She will be remebered fondly,in regards to Camp Rice Moody and the Mistick Side era.
