NORMAN TOTTEN Obituary

TOTTEN, Rev. Norman F., P.h.D. Of Newton, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, at the age of 88 with his beloved wife, Martha, of 44 years at his side. Beloved husband of 44 years to Martha (Lach) Totten; father of the late Mark A. Totten, Julie Totten and her husband, Neil Johnson of Newton; cherished grandfather of Max Johnson of Newton; much-loved uncle of Tedlin Lach of FL; considered as a son by Hicham Naciri, originally from Morocco. Norman was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Michael Lach; and survived by his sister-in-law, Edythe Lach of FL; brother-in-law, Thomas Lach and his wife, Loraine Lach of Dedham, Stephen Lach of Dedham He leaves behind many dear and special cousins, including his very close first cousin, Dr. Buford Suffridge and his wife, Lynda Suffridge. A Celebration of Norman's Life is planned for April 15, at 11 AM in The Eliot Church of Newton, 474 Centre St., Newton, MA 02458 In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Norman's memory to Good Shepard Community Care, 160 Wells Ave., Newton, MA 02459.
