I never met Patrick, but have read his impact on the lives of those who knew him. I know how the parents of Patrick feel as I lost my son his senior year, he was like Patrick loved by many, an athlete, with a gleaming future. I can only say to the parents and family of Patrick my heart goes out to you. To all of his friends remember him as you knew him and it will help you cope with your loss. I'm truly sorry to the Gill family, you are in my thoughts and prayers..

To the Gill Family, I am not personally acquainted with the family, however, I have been
moved in the recent days to
have encountered such a fine
young man through anecdotal
stories I have heard about
Patrick and the quality of his
character. I am a religious
sister and felt compelled to
offer my condolences. God
understands your grief more
than anyone. We are moved
to ask "why" when such a
tragedy occurs. God in his
infinite goodness knows of the
why. Heaven is home and
God has no concept of time.
Patrick is happier than our
human minds can even
imagine. He is home and
knows the mercy of God. May
the love of God and our
Maternal Mother, Mary most
Holy shower her love upon
you. May you too feel some of
the mercy which is so tenderly
enveloping Patrick. Lastly,
may you ask for the
intercession of this young man.
He will be there when you
