REV. FR. PATRICK J. MCLAUGHLIN

McLAUGHLIN, Rev. Fr. Patrick J. Rev. Fr. Patrick J. McLaughlin of Weymouth, formerly of Medford, passed away at his home on April 4, 2023. He was 87 years old. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on February 8, 1936, he was the beloved son of the late Patrick T. Finnegan and Eileen McLaughlin. He was adopted by Lawrence McLaughlin. He is survived by his beloved siblings and their families; Marie and Gene O'Brien, Anne and the late Paul Shinney, Deacon James and Barbara McLaughlin and the late Laurence (Vi), Francis (Dottie), Owen, Mary (Roy) Johnston, and Eleanor (Walter) Delaney. and scores of nephews, nieces and their children. His assignments as a parish priest included St. John Peabody, served in Buena Vista, Bolivia as a member of the St. James Society, Our Lady of Lourdes, Brockton, St. Joseph, Medford and retired as a priest in residence at St. Agatha, Milton. Visiting Hours: Fr. Pat will lay in state in St. Agatha Church, 432 Adams St., Milton, on Wednesday, from 4 to 8 PM. His Pontifical Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley in St. Agatha Church on Thursday, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
