Oh, Chris!

I'm at Sound Encounters in Ottawa, and I just heard... We were reminiscing, and all of us were remembering your family with love.

I pray that by now, healing has begun.

I am Patrick's cousin and I live in California. I am very saddened to hear of Patrick's passing and my condolences go out to all who were close to him. I never got to know Patrick in our adult years but I have alot of fond childhood memories of playing with him and his siblings during childhood years. My heartfelt sympathy to all who were close with him.

Dear Chris, Jenna, Brie and Britta:

I was extremely saddened to hear of your loss. Your family was one of the first we met when we moved to Kansas. Even though you moved, we always remembered the generosity and compassion your family showed. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

My Dear Chris,
I am so saddened to hear about Pat’s passing. We don’t know the “how” or “why” of God’s design. Why this beautiful life was taken while he was so young and full of life, but we do know that Pat was loved immensely by his amazing family; a love that will live on forever.
Please know that my heart and prayers are with you and your girls.
With Love,
Roberta Sullivan

Dear Chris, Jenna, Brie, and Britta,

As Pat's assistant at Biogen Idec for 4 years I can say that we had many good times and that his love, commitment, and enthusiasim for you was nothing short of admirable. Pat will always be remembered for his smile and ability to make people feel like they were important to him whether it was during a formal meeting or a brief conversation. Pat was a lot of fun and a lot of seriousness, and a business man apart from the rest. My healing thoughts are with you at this time and always. With love, Barbara

I worked for Biogen Idec at the San Diego site in the past and will always be grateful for the time I worked under Pat's IT Department. He would always make us feel part of the team, even though we were at another site. I warmly recall every time Pat was at the San Diego site and held a meeting, he would shake everyone's hand and make all of us feel important to him. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. May God show his love and grace on all of you during this time.

Chris and girls,

Although the miles and years separate us, your friendship remains in our hearts forever. Pat's easy-going manner and bright smile made us feel like we had known him forever. Of course, us mid-westerners loved the accent too! It was all part of his charm!
Words cannot convey the sadness we feel for all of you. We will pray for your strength and may the loving arms of Jesus wrap around you and your family. May each passing day give you more peace and comfort knowing Pat is with our heavenly Father. God Bless you all. Beth and Matt Hartung

Pat's passing is a terrible loss and he will be missed. He had a wonderful, encouraging spirit and his positive outlook lifted up those around him. He was never too busy for a heart to heart chat, and no matter who you were or what you did in life, he gave you warmth and respect. Condolences to his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of the countless people whose lives he enriched.

Hi - I used to work for Biogen-Idec, and I supported your husband in his recruiting needs. We have met a couple of times at the Holiday Party, but you probably don't remember me. I just heard the news, and I am very saddened. Pat and I had not only a professional relationship, but a somewhat personal one. I retired from Biogen about 3 years ago, and on occasion we would email each other. I would ask him how his job was going, and when he responded, he would only talk about you and his daughters. He will certainly be missed. Take care of yourself and the girls. Ron Cornila
