DOBIE, Paul J. Of Charlestown, Dec. 30. Beloved husband of the late Mary A. "Mae" (O'Neil) Dobie. Devoted father of Michele Sodergren and her husband Paul of Stoneham, Paul V. Dobie and his wife Bonnie of Stoneham and the late Michael P. Dobie. Loving grandfather of Paul and Christine Sodergren and Michael Ryan Dobie all of Stoneham. Brother of the late Frank, Samuel, and Walter Dobie, Ruth Irvin and Rev. Arthur Dobie. Funeral from the John H. Sawyer Funeral Home, 329 Bunker Hill St., CHARLESTOWN, Monday January 4 at 9:10AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8PM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Late Veteran WW II. Late Container Fund Administrator for the Port of Boston. Past President, Vice President and Recording Secretary for Local #1055. Past ILA Director and Marine Council Representative. In lieu of flowers remembrances in Paul's name may be made to the Charlestown Boys and Girls Club, 15 Green St., Charlestown, MA 02129. Parking area opposite Funeral Home.

Michelle and Paul, very sorry to hear that you lost your Dad. I worked with your mother for years at the BWSC and became a lifelong fan of Mae and Paul Dobie. A wonderful couple, the likes of which don't come around to often. I'll always remember them and miss them. I am indeed lucky to hae known them.
