Hey Foldo. Today is the ten year anniversary of the Pats first superbowl. I remember being there with you when they won and I can remember almost seeing a tear in your eye. I know it meant the world to you to see them win it and it meant even more to me to be there to share it with you.
I'm sure, like me, you're pretty nervous about this game and I found an appropriate quote that may help us put it into perspective. I'll be up to see you at the cemetery on gameday to get your thoughts. I told you at the beginning of this season that the Patriots would be taking us on a magical ride this season and it's coming to an end on Sunday. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have.
I'll see you Sunday and untill then I'll leave you with this.
“When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you until it seems that you cannot hold on for a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time when the tide will turn.”
? Harriet Beecher Stowe

Hey Foldo. Quite a game. That came right down to the nitty gritty. Well were on our way to another Super Bowl again. First we got some revenge over the Ravens and next comes the Giants. I just wanted to say thanks for the help from above at the game Sunday. Keep a few tricks in the bag for the big one next week. I'll be watching it with Wucka as I sit in the big boppers chair. We'll chat again before the big game and thanks again. I told you at the beginning of the season that they'd be taking us on quite a ride this year and now there's only one stop left. Next up, the Giants.

Hi Papa,
You know, you could of been a little more discrete or less obvious when you decided that you were going to push Cundiff's kick WIDE LEFT! Haha. We appreciated your help tho, and I know Matt was there with your jersey and hat on so you certainly played a big role in the win. Enjoy the next 2 weeks before the Superbowl I can feel another title coming..
Love u Always Ryan

Are you ready for some football Foldo? I can't wait. I was debating all week long wether to go to the game or just watch it at home but I had a feeling that we had to be there.
So were going to AFC Championship game although it won't be as cold as it was when you Ma and Dom went in 96'.
I will make sure you're represeted by wearing your Brady jersey and Pats jacket. So sit back and let's enjoy this one together because the Patriots are gonna make Baltimore look sick. Here we come.
Patriots 33-14. Ho ho.
January 13, 2012
Hey Foldo. It's been quite a season. Finished the regular season 13-3, just under your ususal pick of 14-2 over the years. Got the bye and hosting Denver who beat Pittsburgh last week.
Im sure you'd probably have em big tommorrow. Something like 38-17, and you're probably right. Hope you've been enjoying the games up to now.
Tommorrow the real season starts with the first of 3 games.
First to fall, Denver.
I'll say 31-17. Love ya Dad.
Go Pats.

Nice win over the Jets yesterday. I think you wuld have picked that score exact. Just wanted to let you know that Wucka is doing fine and we miss you every day. Hope you are peaceful where you are. Now you can go talk to Al Davis and ask him what he thinks of the tuck rule. Ho ho. Were 4-1. Next week, Dallas at home.

Well, even Seymour couldn't stop them on Sunday, and they looked a little more back to form. Listened to the coach and brady this afternoon as I'm sure you were too. You probably hooked up a 100 ft antenna in heaven so you could tune in WEEI. This will be a good week to look forward to. The Jets looked bad last night and hopefully we'll make them look worse. We're 3-1 with 2 home games coming up. First victim, the JETS!

Well Dad, like you always said, football is a funny game. Unfortunately it was only funny if you were a Bills fan on Sunday. I could hear you screaming from down here. I just watched the special that NFL films on Belichick. You would have loved it. Were 2-1 so far and have the Raiders on the road next week. I think they'll redeem themselves. Belichick will have them ready. Just wanted to tell you I miss not talking to you before and after the game to get your thoughts. I love you Dad. Miss you every single day.

Well that was a great win on my birthday yesterday. I could hear you laughing when Wilfork was returning that pick yesterday. You would have turned to me laughing and said "Hey Matt, that looks like you in there. Ho ho ho." They made the Chargers look sick. 2-0. next week, at Buffalo.
September 13, 2011
Hey Dad. That was quite a win last night for the Patriots. That was just the beginning of a long ride they'll be taking us on this year. Hope you enjoy it. Lets enjoy it together. Next week, Chargers at home. Ha ha ha.

Hey Dad. Just wanted to say hello and wish you a Happy Birthday today. I know one thing you'll be getting today is the first Red Sox win of the season. Wucka is doing great and the family is as well. We are all helping each other out and I know you would be proud. I'll see you in a while I come to visit your grave. Hope you have a happy birthday and the Sox win one for ya. Love Matthew. We miss you....

March 4,2011 Dad:I want to take this opportunity to let you know how proud and blessed I was for all these years to have you as my father.I've been telling everyone that you were not only my Dad,but a teacher and friend as well.We really don't have any regrets. You lived a good life and had many friends. You taught me to always be grateful for all I had and when I would fall you would be right there to pick me up and start anew.I'll really miss you when the Red Sox begin playing for real in early April and in the middle of May when it's time to plant the tomatoes and cucumbers.I've already honored you by enjoying my first Dairy Queen treat of the season and it was as you might expect your usual dish:plain old vanilla. You can always be certain that I'll never run out of ways to honor your memory and celebrate the love you displayed all these many years.I'll miss you always but as the old Irish prayer suggests:until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand. When He summons me I'll be there right with you all over again. But until such time:rest well and I,too will see you in the morning. Thanks Dad LOVE PAUL.

Dad. I just wanted to say thanks for being the best dad and my best friend in the world. You provided all of us with everything we could expect from a father and more. You were there to help us through life in any way you could and I walk through life finding myself doing the same. You were unselfish and would do anything for anybody and that's what I want people to say about me when I'm gone.
I'll miss you everyday till we meet again. I'll think about you everytime a game is on or I see a nice ripe tomato. I know you loved the send off you recieved today from the military presentation when they played Taps and presented Mom with the flag of this great country you served. I will live the rest of my life knowing that you now officially have the best seat in the house for every big game down the road. I know you'll always be watching them, and loving it and I'll hear you cheering from above. Get in your seat Dad, it's gonna be a hell of a year. Thanks for bringing me into this world. Love your best friend.
Foldo. (Matthew)

Dad,
We wanted to have a party to celebrate your 80th birthday in April but it was not meant to be. You were called to a better place only weeks after we learned you were sick. You would have loved the beautiful celebration of your life that took place today. So many came to honor you. You were loved by us all and will be missed forever. Love Kathy

Dearest Betty and Family. We are very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was our neighbor and friend for as long We can remember. He always had a smile on his face and he mostly enjoyed talking about his family, his CB radio and his beloved Boston teams. We remember talking to Paul and Betty often as our children swam in their pool. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and Paul is in a better place waiting for the baseball season to begin. With all our love and deepest sympathy. Mary, Dave and the DiNardi family.
