"Uppa" Of Lexington on July 4, 2016. Beloved husband of Kathleen A. (Ahern) for 38 years. Loving father of Maribeth MacKenzie and her husband Richard of Westford. Loving grandfather of Ryan MacKenzie. Also survived by a brother John D. Friedman of CA. Services are private. Paul was my oldest and closest friend from kindergarten though Yale. For 21 consecutive great fun memorable years! For some unknown reason, we lost touch, as I joined the USAF, and he went on to Medical school. For the past 50 years living in California, I was never able to reconnect with Paul, aside from a BHS reunion and now I never will again.Rest in peace old friend. I will find some old snapshots in an album, and wonder again what we missed,Paul was my oldest and closest friend from kindergarten though Yale. For 21 consecutive great fun memorable years!
